Mission is the healing of our relationships – with one another, creation and God.
Our mission is about how we live as much as it is about what we do. Much of the way we gather as a community creates space for others to connect with us, and for us to connect with our community. Mission also starts by listening, to ourselves, to God and to the world around us. We find that God loves to use the gifts we already have in mission to his world.
Some of our community have started new groups, or mission initiatives, that use what they enjoy doing to connect with others. We also engage with other mission initiatives organised by other groups – Poole Soup, homelessness, litter-picks.
Space for Life is a community that connects with women and is based around creativity and textile art.
Hamworthy Friday Film Night grew out of two community members wanting to share their passion for film.
